Kiara made her debut stream on 12 September 2020.[TZ] She was the second member of hololive -Myth- to debut. Her debut stream opened with a storybook animation narrated by Mori Calliope. She was extremely nervous at the beginning of the stream, during which spoke English, Japanese and German. She ended the stream by singing hololive anthem Shiny Smily Story, promising to make Yagoo's dream come true, a reference to the founder's initial vision of hololive as an idol agency.[18]

On 23 November, she reached 500,000 YouTube subscribers during a "karaoke til 500k subs" stream, making her the 23rd hololive member to reach this milestone. She hit 500k before finishing her second song. Coincidentally, Murasaki Shion reached that same threshold earlier that day.[25]

On 10 December at 05:00 UTC (9 December US time), Kiara held a "re-debut" stream attended by over 30,000 viewers in which Kiara faithfully recreated her original debut stream with a few differences, claiming to have lost her memory. She addressed holoEN members as "senpai" (senior) and even forgot who Calli was. By the end of the stream she recovered her memory and commented on her temporary account termination.[29][30] Amelia Watson later said she really admired Kiara for her clever handling of the situation, which turned a setback into something positive.[31]

Late in February, Kiara's channel was temporarily shadowbanned by YouTube, and did not appear in search results and subscribers did not receive stream notifications. She took a short break from streaming to return to her home country. The shadowban was resolved on 4 March, and on 5 March she performed a German-language "HoloDE Debüt" stream in which she performed a German version of HINOTORI.[37]

On 16 June, she collaborated with Nyatasha Nyanners in the first ever hololive x VShojo collab, which was streamed on both YouTube and Twitch. The event attracted a peak total of around 40,000 viewers across both sites.[43]

On 6 July, Kiara celebrated her birthday with a birthday stream in which she released new merchandise. During that stream she also announced her third original song "SPARKS," which was released later on the same day on her YouTube channel.[44][45]

On 22 October, Kiara held a VR collab stream with Pomu Rainpuff of NIJISANJI EN. This was the first ever collab between members of hololive EN and NIJISANJI EN, and had been in the works for over a year. Pomu sang Kiara's first original song HINOTORI, and Kiara sang LazuLight anthem Diamond City Lights.[61]

Eine echte Ausnahme bildet aktuell Netflix in den USA. Hier wurde im letzten Jahr ein erster Versuch gestartet, Filme auch per 3D zu streamen. In Deutschland ist das Angebot leider nicht verfügbar. Zudem wurde bisher das US-Angebot von 3D Filmen nicht merklich ausgebaut, da es wohl immer noch einige Startschwierigkeiten gibt. Somit ist ein Start in Deutschland in nächster Zeit kaum zu erwarten.

Beim Empfang von 3D Filmen via Netflix verlangt der Streamingdienst einige technische Bedingungen. So muss der Nutzer mindestens über eine Bandbreite von 8 bis 12 MBit pro Sekunde verfügen. Eine leistungsstärkere Datenleitung ist natürlich ebenfalls wünschenswert. Zudem muss der eigene Provider mit dem sogenannten Netflix Open Connect Content Delivery Network verbunden sein. Somit kommt eine Verbindung über einen VPN-Dienst nicht in Frage. Ein direkter Zugriff auf das US-Angebot auf die verfügbaren 3D-Filme ist somit ausgeschlossen. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass die Netflix-App für den deutschsprachigen Raum ebenfalls nicht 3D-fähig ist. Entsprechend kann auch kein 3D-Filme herunter geladen werden.

Starting with VSeeFace v1.13.36, a new Unity asset bundle and VRM based avatar format called VSFAvatar is supported by VSeeFace. This format allows various Unity functionality such as custom animations, shaders and various other components like dynamic bones, constraints and even window captures to be added to VRM models. This is done by re-importing the VRM into Unity and adding and changing various things. There is no online service that the model gets uploaded to, so in fact no upload takes place at all and, in fact, calling uploading is not accurate. When you add a model to the avatar selection, VSeeFace simply stores the location of the file on your PC in a text file. If you move the model file, rename it or delete it, it disappears from the avatar selection because VSeeFace can no longer find a file at that specific place. Please take care and backup your precious model files.

It is possible to perform the face tracking on a separate PC. This can, for example, help reduce CPU load. This process is a bit advanced and requires some general knowledge about the use of commandline programs and batch files. To do this, copy either the whole VSeeFace folder or the VSeeFace_Data\StreamingAssets\Binary\ folder to the second PC, which should have the camera attached. Inside this folder is a file called run.bat. Running this file will open first ask for some information to set up the camera and then run the tracker process that is usually run in the background of VSeeFace. If you entered the correct information, it will show an image of the camera feed with overlaid tracking points, so do not run it while streaming your desktop. This can also be useful to figure out issues with the camera or tracking in general. The tracker can be stopped with the q, while the image display window is active. 2ff7e9595c
